Treatment & Recovery
Our mission is to provide you with the most comprehensive, up-to-date information to help you navigate this challenging time.
Whether you or a loved one are facing a brain aneurysm, our resources are here to guide you through each step of the process. From understanding the latest treatment options to learning about post-treatment care and rehabilitation, we are dedicated to supporting your path to recovery.
Treatment Options
Surgery poses the lowest risk when it is performed before an aneurysm ruptures. The patient’s condition, the size and location of the aneurysm, and other factors determine the risk of surgery. Your doctor will discuss the risks and benefits of surgery with you and your family and answer any questions you may have.
Recovery
You can expect some changes in the first few days and weeks following your treatment. Which of these you experience and how long they last depends on a number of factors, including whether your aneurysm had ruptured prior to treatment and the type of treatment (open or endovascular) you had.
Rehabilitation
Recovering from a brain aneurysm requires specialized rehabilitation services tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Depending on factors such as the patient’s location and insurance coverage, this plan may include a mix of inpatient and outpatient services. Our goal is to support the patient’s journey to recovery.
Types of Rehabilitation
Different types of rehabilitation facilities are available, including both inpatient and outpatient services
