is designed to educate the patient, families and caregivers on the
Brain, Brain vessels, Aneurysms and AVM’s. We are proud to offer
this online event for patients, family members and caregivers to
expand knowledge and enhance physical and emotional wellbeing.

Presenter: Koji Ebersole, MD – Dr. Koji Ebersole is certified by the
American Board of Neurological Surgery. In addition to comprehensive
training in neurosurgery, Dr. Ebersole has completed an additional two years
of fellowship training in minimally-invasive endovascular treatments utilizing
the latest technologies. This background, which is unique in the Kansas City
area, allows Dr. Ebersole to offer each patient a complete set of treatment
options.

The care team at the Swedish Cerebrovascular Center has established a support group for patients that have been diagnosed and treated for a brain aneurysm or arteriovenous malformation (AVM). The group is open to patients, families and caregivers. This is a great place for you to meet and share with others who have been through similar experiences.

Lynn Oswald Brain Aneurysm Support Group

Our goal continues to be a return to in-person meetings, when it is safe to do so, combined with a virtual option. For now, we hope the virtual option will allow more people to participate.

For patients and families dealing with the effects of a brain aneurysm, whether ruptured or unruptured. This is an open forum for you to share your challenges and concerns. The group is facilitated by a brain aneurysm/stroke survivor and an advanced practice nurse.
