Dr. Kaneko earned an MD in 2004, followed by a Ph.D. in 2014 from Tohoku University School of Medicine, Japan. His early career included residencies in Neurosurgery and Neuroendovascular Therapy, as well as a research fellowship in Neuroscience at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York. Currently, Dr. Kaneko is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Interventional Neuroradiology, Department of Radiological Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA. The expertise lies in neuroendovascular therapy, with a particular research focus on the use of robotic systems for treating brain aneurysms.
