A particular type of vascular malformation of the coverings of the brain (called the dura). An abnormal collection or tangle of arteries and veins located within the coverings of the brain in which abnormal vessels develop that connect the arteries and veins. The abnormal high blood flow can affect the brain by transmitting high pressure inside the brain.
