Team Suze Chair Of Research

On September 12th, 2020, the Pollack family’s life was forever changed when their loving mother and wife, Susan Pollack, suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm. This catastrophic event ultimately took her life on March 18th, 2021, when she was just 61 years old.

Susan prioritized her family in every aspect of her life and will always be remembered for her mantra, “#familyfirst.” With a smile that lit up a room, she had a way of making everyone in her orbit feel special, loved, and invested in. She led an active and healthy lifestyle and encouraged her cherished family and friends to do the same. All who were lucky enough to know her, loved being in her company. She is greatly missed every day.

In November 2021, one of Susan’s three children, Justin, and a group of his friends started Team Suze and ran the New York City Marathon in her honor. Together, Team Suze raised over $123,076 for the BrainAneurysm Foundation in hopes to help prevent tragedies for those who suffer from brain aneurysms.

The Pollack family is dedicated to continuing Susan’s #familyfirst legacy and are proud to support the Team Suze Chair of Research in hopes of promoting medical advances, educating others about brain aneurysm symptoms, and preventing others from enduring such a devastating loss.
