MADURAI: Doctors from Apollo Specialty Hospitals here said they had recently performed a complicated procedure on a 50-year-old-woman with brain aneurysm. At a press meet held on Wednesday, the doctors said that the aneurysm of the woman was particularly rare due to its ‘giant’ size and the location where it occurred. To treat the condition, the doctors performed a procedure called ‘high flow brain bypass surgery’ on the patient around 10 days ago. Read full story here.
