Joseph Rooney is Facilities Program Manager with the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority. Joe suffered a brain aneurysm rupture in 2002. During his recovery he and his family discovered the Brain Aneurysm Foundation Support Group at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). Joe has been an active member of the BAF Support Group at MGH ever since and currently serves on the BAF Board Support Group Committee. Joe has learned a tremendous amount since his rupture in 2002, and finds it very rewarding as a survivor himself, to help others who are going through similar circumstances. Joe is also affiliated with Simon of Cyrene and Julie’s Family Learning Program.
