Ginny Tocci joined the Brain Aneurysm Foundation in 2007 as its second employee, serving as Director of Development and Administration. In her first year, the Foundation awarded two $10,000 research grants—a modest but meaningful start in advancing brain aneurysm research. Working side by side with Executive Director Christine Buckley, she had the privilege of helping the Foundation grow and develop. She is most proud of how the organization has awarded over $65 million in research funding, fueling critical advancements in the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of brain aneurysms. She takes great pride in being part of a team dedicated to improving outcomes and saving lives through brain aneurysm research—an effort that has continued to grow and thrive after her retirement.
