The Brain Aneurysm Foundation welcomes P. Laxminarain (Laxmin) to the board of directors.
Laxmin is a seasoned veteran in the medical devices industry with over 30 years of experience in management and consulting. His expertise is in global business strategy, portfolio management, business execution, and growth and talent development.
“We are very excited to welcome Laxmin to our board,” said Christine Buckley, Executive Director of the Brain Aneurysm Foundation. “The quality and breadth of knowledge he brings to the table, as well as his commitment to fulfilling the mission of the foundation, make him a vital asset and excellent addition to the board.”
Recently retired, Laxmin was most recently worldwide president at Codman Neuro, where he was responsible for developing and executing strategic growth for the Neuro devices business of Johnson & Johnson. During this time he was an effective global leader, driving improvements in the company and delivering consistent revenue growth.
“I am honored to join the board and look forward to contributing to the mission, raising awareness, education, support, advocacy and research funding for brain aneurysm disease,” said Laxmin.
Laxmin earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Osmania University and later his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management. He lives in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
