Helping brain aneurysm patients, survivors, and families is a rewarding experience that brings you closer to people who have a tremendous amount of courage, strength, and hope. Volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization. Their tireless fundraising efforts have already begun to make a difference. Today there is more funding for brain aneurysm research, greater awareness of the signs and symptoms of brain aneurysms, and more educational and emotional support for survivors and their families.
But more needs to be done! Brain aneurysms continue to be one of most prevalent, yet underfunded conditions affecting approximately 6 million Americans (that’s 1 in 50 people!). Add to that fact, the cost of treating brain aneurysms and caring for those who have suffered a rupture is estimated to be hundreds of millions each year.
You can make a difference and help raise awareness through donating money, time, and support to those who need your help. With your support, we can start making a real investment to help fight the devastation caused by brain aneurysms and we can save lives.
